wordsmithDictionaries mostly agree that ‘wordsmith‘ simply describes someone who is ‘good with words’.
It’s true that ‘English language’ and ‘English literature’ weren’t favourite school subjects for many people, even when they where educated in English-speaking countries.
For wordsmiths however, the language can be a joy! .. using a wide vocabulary with colour and expression… being able to use words to put in the reader’s mind a vivid picture, attractive idea or an interesting prospect. It’s a talent that’s treasured. And like many other talents, it’s a resource that we can trade, as other artisans like carpenters and composers, stonemasons and singers trade theirs.
You may know what you want to do and you may know that something needs to be written, but perhaps you don’t know where to start. A good wordsmith can help.
